Yes I’m the singer. I just stand up in front and let the other blokes do all the hard work.
Sounds fun to me.

Music started at 8, learning piano and singing in my church choir. I even make head chorister and was offered a place at Canterbury Cathedral. Who’d believe it now after too many smokes and tipples.

Have played in bands since I was 13, and that’s a long time ago.

I’m currently with the band and still playing in a 3 piece harmony traditional English folk group called Hobson’s Choice.

Musical influences started in a big way with the old church choral stuff and classical music. Then came Radio Caroline and a track called Child of the Universe by Barclay James Harvest. It certainly changed me. Then at the Tender age of 13, my best mate, and later my brother in law, Col, gave me a tape of Close to the Edge by Yes. Things have never been the same since.

Time plodded on and I gave up real work to start my Recording studio; Holland Road Studio. Advertise, advertise!!

It’s like being a teenager again, having to suffer tracking some great music. The people you meet and the skills out there are great; and you get paid for it!! Couldn’t do it without my lovely wife Helen and chilblains, Ben and Beth.

The band is really getting going and fun is being had. Rock On.
